A core team of about 28 people manage Canadian Oil Sands’ business, providing operations oversight regarding our 36.74% interest in Syncrude, financial, accounting, business development, crude oil marketing, legal and investor relations services for the Trust. Our office is located in Calgary, Alberta.
The daily operations of Syncrude are managed by Syncrude Canada Ltd., who employs about 5,500 people, most of whom work at the facility located north of Fort McMurray, Alberta.
